Inland Northwest
The Inland Northwest is known for many things, but their harvest of cherries, peaches, and apples is recognized as some of the best-tasting tree-ripe fruit in the country. The various festivals that spotlight each fruit are scheduled throughout the year (check the website for times and dates), but each celebration offers a chance to sample the best of the harvest and purchase some to enjoy at home later. The festivals also feature live music, arts and crafts, and of course, some amazingly delicious fresh fruit.
